I would like to request that this street light be fully shielded, so that the light is redirected toward the ground. It shines brightly outward, into my windows across the street (particularly during seasons when the tree doesn't have leaves), which disturbs my sleep. I have tried room-darkening curtains; however my sleep health is better when I wake to the sun. Thank you for your consideration.
Tree roots are pushing up this sidewalk. It's significantly raised -- about a finger's length. Any chance to shave it down so that it's not as much of a hazard? The other side of the street has a similar problem, though to a lesser degree.

IU students are returning which will put even more pressure on the RCA pickleball courts. There are six permanent courts there (one with broken net) The Bloomington Pickleball Club has offered to put temporary lines on the tennis courts to add 6 more courts. There are a number of temp chalk and paint products out there that will do the trick short term. The lines will not affect the ability to play tennis (though no one really plays tennis here) The BPC has temp nets we can put out at least on weekends to help with the crowds. I suggest the city also adopt some court rules for how the courts get shared when there is a large crowd. Let’s get ahead of this before it becomes a bigger problem in a few weeks!
We had a softball reservation at RCA Park and the grass hasn't been mowed it looks like in several weeks and week maybe even months and we can't play.
I'd like to address that there is severe mold issues on the pickleball and tennis courts at RCA park. The black mildew/mold issue has caused numerous instances with pickleball play and tennis play becoming a safety issue due to how slippery the surface get's. Many people have been slipping lately because the mold creates a very slippery surface. I'd like to suggest and request that someone comes to take a look at the issues near the back of the courts towards the woods. People using the field at RCA Park as a dog park; two bully-breed dogs off leash. Owners were smoking on park grounds and did not pick up dog feces. The dogs were not in an enclosed area and at one point ran onto the playground where there were small children playing. This was extremely unsafe. Dog owners drive a large red ford truck with black trim. License plate CBL917. Please investigate so these people know not to do this again. I fear for the safety of the people who visit the park.
