Where East Canada road narrows and comes to an end, its too tight to have cars parked on both sides of the road. It is also dangerous as many times people coming from South Heirloom Drive do not stop when they get to E Canada Drive and you cannot see them due to cars being parked there. Who maintains this road and who can we contact about putting no parking signs up?
The intersection of E Canada Drive and S Heirloom Dr is a dangerous intersection with no right of way or stop sign. There have been several cars that have been hit or almost hit at this intersection. To add to the problem, there is no clear line of site when cars are parked on left side of the road as you head towards S Heirloom Dr for cars on S Heirloom to turn safely onto E Canada Dr. I would suggest either no parking signs and a stop sign be installed, or double lines be placed on the road and a stop sign.
Backed up West bound traffic on Bloomfield Road is made a bit worse with the lights here off sensor during construction. The timing is providing more time than needed for cross traffic and turn lane, should be set much longer for E-W Bloomfield. The light further east at Twin Lakes has very sensitive sensor for cross traffic, also adding to the backup, could let the cross traffic wait longer and reset if they escape with a right turn on red to keep the E-W flow going if it can.
Is it possible to have a crosswalk painted on 3rd at Rose? Today I saw a blind person trying to make the crossing. Per the email below, a few years ago, it seemed this was a possibility. Yes. Please unblock this road it is ridiculous I live at 2738 S Pinehurst Dr and I have to drive though some neighborhood to get to my house. If you are trying to stop people from going through my neighborhood you are failing because people will just go through more neighborhood to get around the construction and can you blame them you have completely shut the south side of town down and you are going to send all the Jehovah’s Witnesses though my neighborhood now since you cut off the only direct access to their church.
The vegetation at the pinned location create an obstructed view and dangerous intersection for those turning from N jacobs onto Alexander
in the morning and in the afternoon when school is starting/ending one can spend more than 10 minutes making a left turn here. Today I had one car ahead of me attempting this who eventually turned right after 11 minutes, while at least 5 school buses trying to get to Tri-North and a large number of cards piled up behind me. A stop sign or a light that is programed for school hours would make it a lot easier and help keep everyone arrive on time. An additional challenge is that you have a lot of new drivers (HS) who don't always use their turn signals or don't know to stop before turning on to Prow Rd and allow for taking turns.
This is an Envirosac of cement (concrete construction debris), likely left over from fiber optic installation one year ago. It is at the residence of 2809 E Daniel Street. It was a box of powdered cement, that naturally hardened into concrete, making it VERY heavy. I would like to know who to contact to remove this from the easement? Another neighbor asked the residents to please remove it, however they have not, and they likely do not think it is their place to do so since the fiber optic company fractured their driveway and did not take this box of cement with them when they repaired it.
