I would like to request a new left turn signals on Smith road, especially the intersection of E. 10th Street and E. 3rd Street. The 10th Street intersection is the worst and waiting on Smith to make a left turn onto 10th can be an interminable wait, especially during rush hour.
The intersection at north 10th, Smith road, and Russell road is one of the most dangerous in Bloomington. I believe there needs to be a traffic light there to allow people to turn from Smith Road. It's almost impossible for drivers coming off Smith Road to turn either right or left onto 10th or Russell, especially during rush hour traffic. Visibility is poor because 10th street curves in unusual ways at that intersection, and none of the two-way traffic wants to yield. Bus traffic from 10th Street compounds the problem. Due to there only being a stop sign on Belle Ave. (East/west), drivers consistently speed down Hickory well over the posted limit. In addition, drivers on Belle have a history of not stopping at the stop sign therefore we commonly see near misses or hear screeching tires. While it may annoy some, I feel that a 4-way stop would be much safer here for drivers as well as for any pedestrians.
Please add a deer- crossing sign at the sharp curve on Old State Road 37. Cars speeding down the hill may not know how frequently deer run deer are present.
There is a pole nut no crosswalk sign to warn speeding cars. This dog-leg is a heavily used walkway for the employees of Solution Tree that has to walk across the street to get to parking lot. I have almost been hit many times as well as my coworkers. Cars do not slow down and it is a BLIND bend. Traffic jams on 2nd and 3rd streets. Synchronizing the lights would greatly reduce backed up traffic. A lot of times during rush hours traffic is halted because the lights all seemingly change at different times
Hello I am the office manager at Summit Urology located on McIntire Dr off of Tapp Rd and we have a few concerns 1 being that we have a Surgery Center down stairs and we are going to soon have only 1 way in or out of here. This is a concern due to if we ever need an ambulance to come to the surgery center in the event of an emergency and the road be blocked for some reason it could mean life or death for someone. Yesterday the road was blocked off for 38 min no one could get in or out of the medical park. I find this to not be a good result and need to speak to someone about our concerns.
Complaint of insufficient and unclear construction signage. Is making it difficult to get into parking lot where she works and sometimes forces her to take one way streets the wrong direction in order to access parking lot.
