Near the north west corner of my property (801 S. Anita St) there is an uncovered opening to fibre optic conduit. I reported this to a non-city contact for the company (project manager Richard __Heart(?) phone number is 517-302-1270)a Few weeks ago but no action has been taken. Same gentleman to whom I reported some lawn damage caused by their horizontal boring machine, much earlier. Also no action.

Hi, I am hoping you can forward this to the appropriate person to address this concern.
This weekend I was biking with my son, going east on 1st St and entering Rogers-Binford campus by the playground. We were approaching the trail connection at the end of 1st street east of High St and I was largely focused on the road because it's a bit bumpy there. At the last second I realized there was a metal chain stretched halfway across the trail. I was able to slam on my brakes and skid to a stop, but it was quite a close call. The chain is not particularly visible and wasn't there the last time we went through. We came very close to getting hurt, and it seems likely that someone will get hurt if it stays as is. Someone going through at night is going to be in for a rough surprise. I understand you probably put the vertical post on a tire in the middle of the trail to discourage cars from driving through there and that seems fine, but please (please!) don't stretch a chain across the trail. Or if there's some critical reason that the chain is there, then at least hang a bunch of large bright flags from it or something.
Thank you!

It would be nice if there was a 'Utility Cut' sign on E First Street, warning motorists for the one cut at 1113 E First and the other one near the intersection of First and Ballantine. Unless you plan to pave them today.

About ticket #192627. You closed it with the comment that the contractor has filled the hole. The contractor has half-filled it with gravel that is quickly being scattered as folks park with a wheel in the hole. The hole is growing, and is a hazard. It hasn't been filled.
Thank you,

Traffic is restricted to one lane on 19th St. from Washington St. up to Lincoln St. There should be NO PARKING on South side of street along 19th St. in the section. It is dangerous and inconvenient.

The newly redone exit on Clarizz for Bloomingfoods East and the new apartment complex is too narrow by about 3 feet. It is nearly impossible for two vehicles to be in the intersection at the same time, and turning in or out is in-executable while another vehicle is present. Personally I have seen many instances that a car has to stop in the intersection to allow for a car to clear the way. This is a highly trafficked intersection that will only become more heavily traveled once the multiplex is finished and occupied. Thus, this intersection poses great risk for incident in its current configuration.
