There are a lot of rocks on the edges of the road on both sides in this block. Looks like they are from a recent construction project that was not cleaned up afterwards, and they look like they are too big for the street-cleaning machines to pick up.

Utility contractor is using rebar rods for safety fencing around open holes along side walk but they are not using rebar caps on top of the rebar which poses an impailment hazard if someone was to fall into the rebar.
Near the north west corner of my property (801 S. Anita St) there is an uncovered opening to fibre optic conduit. I reported this to a non-city contact for the company (project manager Richard __Heart(?) phone number is 517-302-1270)a Few weeks ago but no action has been taken. Same gentleman to whom I reported some lawn damage caused by their horizontal boring machine, much earlier. Also no action.
ATT has not repaired downed utility lines since the storm several months ago. Who is responsible for making sure that ATT takes care of their lines? (I am not an ATT customer)
Reported by Joanne Freeman to me. Unfinished AT&T fiber project started last summer has left exposed conduit, foot-deep holes and sand fill in rights of way (meaning grass doesn't grow). She wants City inspectors to contact Michael or Sharon Dalton who are the property managers for the subdivision to get this situation addressed. AT&T has been unresponsive to neighborhood contact. The City of Bloomington was doing road construction repairs outside of my building and broke my light pole and never came back to replace or repair!
Fiber co. Cut sidewalk. Someone came to patch with asphalt. Asphalt sunk immediately. Looks like a significant hole in sidewalk. Water meter appears to be affected as well - tilting towards the hole (did not use to).
Fiber-optic people bored a hole through the street, then filled it up with gravel instead of asphalt. Now, the gravel has washed away and there is a hole that someone could step in and trip. It is close to the scooter corral on the SW corner of Grant/Cottage Grove.
whatever person decided to put up a thing of poles at the turn at the light needs to remove them. never had a problem at that turn and almost get into a crash today because of them
