The curbs for the new bump-outs on Weatherstone need painted a bright color. It is hard for drivers to see the change in the road, especially at night, and if hit, would cause vehicle damage.
Dedicated right turn lane at Country Club and Roger’s intersection for people heading eastbound
Dedicated left turn lane for people traveling east on Tapp and turning towards BUGS and Woolery Mill.
Speed bumps are too large to accommodate 25 mph which is the posted speed limit
The stop light at High Street and 2nd street is very long. At 5:50 in the morning, with very, very little traffic, it is a waste of time and gasoline. Can it be changed to flashing yellow until 7:00 a.m., please?
Not really an issue per say. More a general question. For people walking down third street is there any way for them speed up the light change when there is no cross traffic coming? I normally try to give it two minutes to change? I've noticed it doesn't change automatically unless there is physical cross traffic sitting at the light. Some nights I have enough time to truly wait other nights when running late waiting there is far to much time in my own opinion. If there isn't that's cool. As I said I'm just curious. Hello again, thanks for changing the one small sign on 3rd. St. Now I'd like to request adding "NO THRU TRUCKS" x2 signs to the two no trucks image signs (red cross-out) that are at 3rd and Rogers on the west-side facing east. They are not working, there is a huge influx of thru truck traffic on W 3rd St. and I think adding the written out signs to the two existing signs would help solve the problem. Thanks, Jaclyn
Hello, I just wanted to suggest installing traffic lights or adding round abouts at the entrances/exits at Bloomington North. The area is extremely busy around 7:30am and 2:45pm with inexperienced drivers. It’s very difficult to get out of the school. The other area is N. Prow Rd turning onto Arlington. It’s actually pretty unbelievable that there are no lights or added safety precautions for students driving this route daily.
Heading east on 17th st, turning north into Fee lane, the left turn light is never activated. There is usually heavy westbound traffic when I'm attempting a left at this light and it can be difficult to fit in a turn with unending oncoming traffic.
hillside is a much busier street than henderson. during peak traffic a dozen or more cars traveling east or west on hillside will be stopped at this light. idling. waiting for a car or two traveling north or south on henderson to pass. can the timing of this light be adjusted to reflect the actual flow of traffic through this intersection
