Large bush at Davisson and Smith blocking the street
Large bush at Davisson and Smith blocking the street
#181580 original case number. Can I please get an update on this? If the lights were ever replaced, it did nothing to dim them since original install. Could we at least get shields on the lights to direct the light toward the street and not our house. It is ridiculous to be able to read a book at midnight in the backyard with ease. Nuisance Lights: Other: The street lights need to be reangled or shielded so the light shines only onto the intersection and stops blinding the houses at the intersection. The light on the southwest corner is particularly bad due to the height of the land and the angle of the light. We issued several complaints when the intersection was re-done and nothing has ever been done. The light pollution is terrible at this intersection and there is no reason it should be brighter than even Walnut and Winslow. Please install light shields to angle the lighting properly.
trash along roads. i volunteer and pick up trash but cant do tap road myself,
I appreciate the new road updates to make the left turn out of Walnut Pike onto E Winslow Road even more inaccessible. It would be nice to have some clearer signage, though, especially for those out of town unfamiliar with the area. Further south on Walnut Pike where it connects to S Walnut Street Pike it might be nice to have a sign saying "no left turn ahead" or something similar.
When you drive west on Allendale Drive to Walnut Street Pike, you cannot see to the right when pulling out into traffic. Vehicles drive so fast on Walnut St. Pk. there is an accident waiting to happen. Trees and bushes need to be trimed back looking both left and right. There are a lot of senior citizens living in Sherwood Oaks so we need to make sure we do all we can do to make it safe for them. Please take a look at this problem. Thank you!
Line of sight, Bushes are blocking the view to be able to turn safely.
If someone actually reads this – Please add an indicator/light to indicate to drivers that this is a one way. I have two videos in the last two weeks of someone going the wrong way on a 40 MPH road... If you want both of the videos email me. (N Walnut Street, Bloomington, IN 47404).
Can the city consider installing “cross-traffic does not stop” signs below the stop signs on Allen Street at its intersections with Washington and Lincoln Streets? Cyclists may be lulled into a false sense of security as they ride on Allen Street, a marked bicycle boulevard, especially if they have just come off the B-Line trail where they are conditioned to cars yielding to them at intersections. As such, they might not be watching diligently for cross-vehicular traffic (or will assume that vehicles are going to stop for them) on Washington and Lincoln Streets, which does not have to stop at their respective Allen Street intersections. By installing “cross-traffic does not stop” signs (both eastbound and westbound) on Allen Street, safety can be improved by giving cyclists another warning that they had better heed the stop signs.
