Hello, I just wanted to suggest installing traffic lights or adding round abouts at the entrances/exits at Bloomington North. The area is extremely busy around 7:30am and 2:45pm with inexperienced drivers. It’s very difficult to get out of the school. The other area is N. Prow Rd turning onto Arlington. It’s actually pretty unbelievable that there are no lights or added safety precautions for students driving this route daily.

The bike lane dividers on 3rd Street are very dangerous. Instead of parking all along the bike lane, where cyclists have a chance to filter into the main traffic lanes to get around cars, cars are parking right where the dividers end, and cyclists cannot jump the dividers to get into the main lane of traffic, so cyclists have to slam on their brakes in a bike lane full of gravel to avoid rear ending the cars. Please consider extending these dividers all the way to Indiana Ave, and make them curbable for buses in the areas where buses need to pick people up.

Please consider adding a stop sign at the intersection of Highland and the street leading into/out of the YMCA property. Curving road, ascending and descending roads, blocked views, speeding cars, pedestrians and children. Need a safer way to cross and turn at this intersection. Thank you

I live in the apartment building on the corner of 2nd and High street. The entrance to its parking lot is from High street, very close to the corner. Any time there's a car stopped at the light the entrance is blocked, and the light is delayed for those cars, so unless you are coming in from the south, you have to wait for those cars to go, blocking traffic behind you, or go around the block. Could it be possible to paint the sign in front of the parking lot entrance that cars should not stop there for the light, but a little further from the entrance, and should not block the entrance to the lot? This intersection is very dangerous with people trying to turn left into Belle Tire or turn left from Belle Tire. It needs to either be eliminated as an ingress or it needs a porkchop or something that only allows cars to turn right into or out of.

I'm very excited to see the new High Street multi path finally being developed, however I do have 2 concerns about the project. First, access for our Sycamore Knolls neighborhood into the Jackson Creek Trail has been effectively cut off during construction, and there is really no safe way to bike to the trail with small children unless you ride on High Street. Better consideration should have been given to maintain pedestrian access after removing the existing sidewalk on High Street. Second, it is disappointing that the trail will end at Arden. It would have been nice to see in continue north for another half mile to Marilyn/Covenanter, and connect into the existing Covenanter Greenway. That would have greatly expanding access for the Southeast side of town towards the B-Line trail utilizing this existing greenway.

This recently completed trail along Rogers running towards the new path on High street is in need of some maintenance along the bridge area. There are 2 ADA issues that need to be addressed: 1. Encroaching vegetation has significantly narrowed the pathway making wheelchair travel difficult. 2. Encroaching vegetation has completely covered and made the handrail inaccessible. Can the vegetation here please be trimmed back to rectify these issues? Thanks!
