Overhanging tree branches in front of the church in the 1600 bloc of E Second Street; sidewalk completely blocked by branches from a shrub on E Second Street between Mitchell and Swain.
On E Second, close to the corner of Woodscrest and E Second, there are low overhanging branches on the footpath next to the school grounds. Pedestrians have to duck to avoid them.
4301 e Morningside branch overhangs sidewalk
Hello, I live on Euclid Ave and have to make frequent turns onto W 2nd St. On the corner of these streets, across from the church there are overgrown plants/weeds beyond the sidewalk. It's impossible to see any cars coming from the left while on Euclid Ave. The hill makes it difficult but the plants take any vision left. I've accidentally almost involved myself in accidents due to this. I and I'm sure others would appreciate the obstruction be removed if at all possible.
Plants in the way of the line of sight at the SW corner of S Fairview and W Dodds. A hazard. Please rectify ASAP
The line of sight problem at W Dodds and S Fairview is not resolved and should not be closed. Ticket 173486 Plants till lean out into the roadway blocking LOS. Whatever the resident may have done has not helped. Please make the intersection safer and truly resolve the situation.
Looked like E Morningside through Park Ridge is at 20 mph but Park Ridge East is at 25 mph. Can you make consistently 20 throughout? Thank you. Both remain residential areas, bike path, and such.
On 7th street the construction has resulted in multiple stop signs being taken out. Every day I see cars spewing through which is ferrying especially at night when it is hard to see pedestrians because of the new bike lane. This neighborhood is where my friends reside and every day I fear for their safety. These stops signs need to be put back in immediately because of the danger they are actively putting residents and students in. Construction should not result in danger for safety.
There is an URGENT need for a stop light at the intersection of 10th street and John Hinkle Place with Woodbridge Apartments. Specifically, children are crossing that intersection every day to board school buses. I have personally witnessed occasions when cars traveling both east and west in 10th street have had to apply brakes in an emergency manner to avoid fatalities. I can assure you it is only a matter of time before pedestrians and vehicles will be involved in accidents resulting in fatalities. The City of Bloomington is hereby put on notice that unless this emergency situation is not addressed the result will be fatalities. As an attorney, I can assure you that the City is legally liable WHEN these fatalities occur. Thank you. Randall Smith 650 Woodbridge Drive Bloomington IN 47408 Telephone: 812 325 1226.
