Outdoor mess. Indoor hoarding and trash. Cat urine. 603 S. Fridley Ct
Trash went uncollected for upward of a week and a half; management refused to deal with the issue or send emails informing us of alternative trash removal. They instead put cones with paper writing on it saying “Don’t throw away trash.” The paper quickly disintegrated due to time and weather. We were left without services which impacted our ability to take out trash, resulting in bugs and an abnormal uptick in pests.
The managers at Distinct Management have been neglecting their responsibilities as landlords to maintain a clean environment and provide the necessary accommodations to facilitate proper disposal of waste by their residents. This picture was taken 24 July in the afternoon. The context of this picture is that the trash bin was stuffed by 15 July. By 17 July, it was overflowing. That entire week, there was not a single trash collection, and the waste piled up and piled up. The dumpster was finally cleared the morning of 24 July. In less than 4 hours, it went from empty to this state. This is also after I saw people sent by management to clean up the waste around the bin. The trash is only more built up today. There is only this small trash bin for over 50 units in this complex, and it is constantly overfilled. With move-out season, the problem is much worse. Please require them to add additional/larger waste disposal facilities.

There are snakes and at least one skunk in this yard. We've been trying to walk our pets down the sidewalk and the snakes come out of this yard into the sidewalk area. The skunks are living in the back yard area in this yard.

Property is so overgrown with invasive, noxious plants along alley that a tree is now leaning and is in contact with electric service wires. Also, utility pole on SE corner of lot has vines growing up near the transformer and just a few feet away from high voltage distribution lines. Property owner has let the entire property degrade so that what was once a good example of 1890s architecture is now a hovel/shack that is an embarrassment for the entire neighborhood.
