There is a campsite set up on W 3RD Street behind the convention center. in the photo you can see the tent with the convention center behind it. Across the street someone is camping in the doorway of the old Fox Motorcycles door way. There is trash strewn along the sidewalk. This makes it feel unsafe to walk on either side of Third Street between College and Madison. Because of the underpass the space feels constricted adding to the feeling of unease.

This property has accumulated months of trash in front of the residence, from bags of personal trash to full tires. They do not appear to receive city trash removal services and this accumulation of trash bags and random debris is a violation of Bloomington Trash and Recycling ordinance: "Accumulated trash is unsanitary and attracts rats and other animals. Properties with accumulations of trash or scattered litter or debris may be issued a Notice of Violation with fines of up to $150." This attracts pests and is a detriment to the health and safety of the neighborhood.
