The City does not maintain the trees between the sidewalk and the street on Adams. The trees and brush are overgrown with invasive species and the local residents are spending hours and money trying to maintain the weeds/trees that are impeding their property. The sidewalk is not accessible because the City has not maintained their portion of the land between the sidewalk and the street.
I have no idea how to fit this problem into the city's framework, so am putting it here. The garage you see is owned 1/2 by me and 1/2 by the neighbor (a corporation who is supposed to rent to 3 adults. the driveway is shared. As you can see, a car is parked blocking my access to my garage. The person I spoke to next door doesn't know who the car belongs to, he is a visitor. This happens all the time. There are also 2 cars parked on the other side of the house. I have talked to HAND about how to find the property line and info about getting the garage demolished. The info was woefully incomplete. I am extremely frustrated that I cannot get help from the city, who seems focused only on increasing density. I hope you're happy.

Snow is never cleared at this address, why do I as a parent have to act like the police. Children walk to school. This house is a repeat offender, so this is one more thing to do as a parent? I gave a friend a ride home on Tuesday night around 9:00 pm. He lives in a small trailer park off of South Ransom Lane (831 S Ransom). It was very difficult to get to his home because his driveway was mostly blocked by another resident's belongings. This resident has his entire property covered with furniture and vehicles, including a van that has been flipped upside down. It is a huge mess! Would this be something the city could look into?
2 abandoned vehicles found at 1706 S. Huntington Dr. (abandoned for over 3 years) There is an old garage that the owners of this property have not touched in the 3 years we have lived next to them. There is a car behind the garage and another car in the garage. The building is falling apart and is a safety hazard to kids in the neighborhood. Many stray animals may be living in this structure, and have seen suspicious peoples coming from it from time to time as well (as if they are squatting there). Please help resolve this issue, as it is a huge danger to my family’s safety.
