chipmunk problem in the walls, breaking holes into pantry, back room, laundry room, also in vents Scheduled 9-27-06(Wed)@ 4PM w/ Barry Collins
A possum got in out air conditioning vents and we have tried to work with our management company and their maintenance guy on removing the animal when we first heard it and spotted it. They did nothing about it and now they is a strong odor coming into the house through the vents. After countless times of trying to reach both the maintenance guy and Action Properties Management, the smell is now getting worse from the animal dying in the vents and rotting and they are still taking no action. I want to file a complaint since now it is becoming a health concern and this company is being careless of our health.
Called to report a rat infestation in Kensington/Hyde Park. She has 22 rat holes in her yard alone. Someone from MoCo Public Health came out recently, after Ms. Nephew called that department, and found rat holes on 8 properties across 3 streets, minimally. I suggestd that Ms. Nephew contact both Animal Control and HAND because there's an ongoing issue with her neighbor leaving out birdfeed, debris and composting materials that are likely feeding the rats. Larry Williams called into Elizabeth Walter at the Mayor's office to complain about the property at 612 N. Monroe being over run with cats (around 10) and trash. He owns four neighboring properties: 623, 631, 635, 639 N. Monroe. He filed a uReport about this himself over a month ago and said there hasn't been any progress on the matter. I filed this for Animal Control but HAND and Public Works may be interested as well since there is an abundance of trash as well.
A backyard in my neighborhood is overgrown and has excessive debris. It is infested with rats.
There are snakes and at least one skunk in this yard. We've been trying to walk our pets down the sidewalk and the snakes come out of this yard into the sidewalk area. The skunks are living in the back yard area in this yard.
There is a "Republic" dumpster in the parking lot on the east side of this building that has a drain hole on the side that is missing a plug. Rats routinely enter and exit the drain hole of the dumpster and are running all over the parking lot at night. Can the City force the trash people to keep dumpsters in a reasonable condition so that they do not attract and sustain vermin? Note: leaving poison outside does nothing and only serves to harm other animals. Best to seal the dumpsters and keep the garbage contained.
We have complained about this before, but nothing was done. The dumpster in the parking lot has a large hole on the east side near the bottom, ostensibly for drainage. However, it is large enough for rats to enter and exit, which they do to feast at night. There are *always* rats running around the parking lot because of this. They live in the little caves right behind the dumpster. Please do *not* poison or trap the rats. Rather, we would like the hole sealed up so that the rats will no longer have an endless source of food and will move somewhere else. This seems like a simple fix. What do we have to do to get someone to listen?

There are 3 houses on E Maxwell Lane, all next to each other, directly East of Park Avenue, on the South side of E Maxwell Lane that have not shoveled their sidewalks and it is dangerous. I believe they are all rentals and one is amn AirBnB.
