Sidewalk piece has began to rise up and protruding out of the ground 2 to 3 inches. With there being no bike lane I’m riding my transportation apparatus on the sidewalk. I wanted to bring this to your attention to see if it could get on the west of being fixed. Thank you so much for your time and consideration
House is discharging wastewater directly onto sidewalk, which in this weather is freezing and causing a safety hazard.
In front of 2521 S Rogers there is a section of sidewalk that was dug up and refilled with gravel. It has been like this for several weeks. When will it be refinished? It is not flat and is difficult to cross.
There is a metal service door with a hole in it and the cap to this hole is missing. This is nothing to extreme, but it could be a hazard.
Caller to HAND reported that the metal drain covering on the sidewalk is sticking up and loose. It is very sharp and is in an area that is high-traffic for walkers.
Dear Madam/Sir, I am writing to report an issue concerning the curb and storm drain located at the southern end of Stratford Dr, in front of our residence (3020 S Stratford Dr, Bloomington IN, 47401). The curb is currently obstructed by leaves, twigs, and organic sediment (as shown in the attached photo), impeding effective drainage during rainfall. As a result, our front yard experiences flooding with every rain shower. We kindly request that the curb and its immediate surroundings be thoroughly cleaned to restore proper drainage functionality. Following up on Case 188180. This report shows that it has been closed, but the valve cover has never been lowered to sit flush with the surrounding sidewalk. This creates a trip hazard and violated City ordinances related to ADA compliance and sidewalk maintenance.
Thanks for replacing curb removed to repair water main break. But, will the city fill the space behind the new curb to prevent erosion and standing water? The yard was dug up by the city to work on the water pipe.
Just something to check out: sidewalk surrounding sewer grate is crumbling. Could eventually become dangerous. Not sure of the support structure but thought it should be reported.
Not sure if this is the proper place to report, but I own a rental house at 813 W Kirkwood. The side walk in front of the house is all chewed up but my main concern is that the Jordan River surfaces right there on the east border of the house and the one next door. there is a broken railing there that is intended I suppose to protect someone from falling in. It is rusted thru and presents a dangerous situation for a child who could be walking there. Also the interior of that waterway canal has tons of trees growing in it that I think should be cut out, but believe that would be the city's property there to take care of. Any way the two issues make that a dangerous spot. I hope you will look into it and schedule some kind of repair there for safety of our fair city's citizens!! thanks Nancy
