Water flooding sidewalk in front of our house daily. Possible cause of moisture in crawlspace.
I drive by this spot each day, and I am amazed that there is always running water there. I happen to be walking by this evening at the end of a hot day at the end of two very dry weeks, and it’s still wet there. It does not appear to be running water coming from a house over the hill. Something is up with the street or under the street.

The sanitary sewer at the corner of my yard (Forrester and Kristen Ct) is putting off a terrible smell. Several weeks ago a utility truck was scoping the sewer and I did not notice before then but now it is very pronounced while I wait with my child at the bus stop.
Appeats to be a waterline leak in the street in front of our house. There was a leak here before and the city services fixed it. Been really dry weather and today it was even more wet than the day before.
Flooding frequently when raining or under a storm due to lack of storm drainage on this road
This is in reference to a prior case submission (#913401) - the prior service request was closed and listed as the property owner's responsibility but the case history for the location shows that in 2014 the same issue was submitted by my former neighbor and the city did resolve the issue with the storm drain being blocked. 9/10/2024 10:05:29 Closed by Emily Tate According to CBU records, the ditch at this location is private property, so maintenance is the responsibility of the property owner, or in some cases a neighborhood group/HOA. The drainage ditch leading into a sewer grate behind our house is outgrown and filled with debris that is blocking the sewer grate. It is typically cleaned out by the city at least once a year but no one has come for more than 12 months.
A collapsed metal drainage culvert is a risk of injury to people and animals walking on the north side of E Morningside near N Smith Road. A 7 inch wide hole in the pavement above the east end of the 60 year old metal culvert is becoming larger. A similar culvert collapse near the west end of this culvert was partially repaired in recent years. Best practice may be to replace the decayed metal with plastic or other durable material.
