There are a number of destroyed delineator posts in the 3rd Street protected bike lane. The posts are there for visibility and a division between the bike's space and car's space, and since they are not there, I feel much less safe when biking along this street. Please replace them.
The southbound traffic light on Rogers does not turn green for southbound traffic. I sat through multiple full light cycles before I carefully and safely proceeded through the intersection. 4:20PM 2/20/26.
Resident, working as a rideshare driver, reports observing traffic at the intersection of E 17th St. and N Eagleson Ave. for approximately 20 minutes. During this time several pedestrian near-misses were observed. Resident believes that Rush Week has created a situation where IU students are frequently crossing the road while distracted with their smartphones (i.e., participating in Rush-related activities). Consequently, students are using sidewalks according to existing paint markings on the road. Although 2 crosswalk curb ramps have been removed recently, paint for those crosswalks is still on the road. The paint is also impeded by mud in parts, which can be difficult for drivers to see. Students are prompting traffic to stop at 4 separate locations along E 17th St. at irregular intervals. Resident is requesting removal of old sidewalk markings and/or posting of a crosswalk closure sign.
There shoes on power line
There has not been an adequate explanation why the map results feature of uReports was disabled and not replaced. Several requests for information have gone unanswered: https://bloomington.in.gov/crm/tickets/view?ticket_id=208706 https://bloomington.in.gov/crm/tickets/view?ticket_id=206457 Others have had dismissive or incomprehensible responses: https://bloomington.in.gov/crm/tickets/view?ticket_id=207285 https://bloomington.in.gov/crm/tickets/view?ticket_id=206286 This was a very important feature that was often used. It was acting a little weird the last year or so, but it still worked. Why not keep it up until something is developed to replace it? It seems kind of shady that the City would remove such a feature, as if you don't want people having too much access to information. It allowed users to clearly see where the problem areas are. Is it still online for internal use? Please do not assign this to the person ("C.I.") who has received the requests in the past. Better it be addressed by someone higher up.
Increasing size potholes on the section of road
Pothole on Smith Road south of intersection with Lorelei on east side of road
Both the Northern and Southern parts of Brig's Bend have multiple potholes and the Northern leg of our oxbow street has 3 really deep ones. With cars parked on the both sides of the road they are hard to avoid or see (especially at night) and are in the middle of the road.
Huge pothole in the middle of the intersection of North Morton and West 6th Street. Thank you!
