Caller from The Project School reported that the lights at the crosswalk at the intersection of Smith & Washington aren't working. The lights don't flash to allow pedestrians (their students) to cross. Thanks for looking into this.
On Saturday I was eastbound on Covenanter and pulled up to the traffic light at College Mall Rd. I was in the right lane and the signal went through a full rotation and never gave me a green light to cross College Mall Rd. I ended up turning right/south on red.
The pedestrian walk signal to cross 10th street at this intersection is not functional.
L turn signal does not work to turn Left onto 10th street from union
People are reporting Walnut/Hillside signal stays green for Walnut for very long times, backing up Hillside Drive until someone turns right on red illegally, which seems to trigger the signal. Is this City or State problem?
Walk light does not turn on to cross S Henderson St. That’s going west on E Winslow Rd using the sidewalk on its south side.
Yesterday and today, the light at 10th and Fee has been malfunctioning. A bus driver reported to me that the southbound Fee Lane light seemed to skip a cycle and she had to wait 5 minutes before getting a green arrow to turn onto 10th. Traffic light at S Patterson coming out of former Cook Pharmica takes 1min 40 sec to change. Traffic light at S Patterson to 2nd St. turn arrow last less than 10 sec. Traffic light at S Patterson to 3 rd. St. takes 1min 40 sec to change. Traffic light at S. Ranson to Bloomfield Rd 1 min and 30 sec to change. I would like to suggest that you send someone out to the Bay Area in Ca. and have them show them how they set up there signals. They are experts in traffic flow. If you come to an intersection and the light is red and there is know one there it will change too green in seconds. It saves people time and money not having to sit at a light waiting for it to change.
2:30 a.m. Saturday the left turn arrows on n/s signal (turning w/e) activated when there were no cars in either left-turn lane. For that matter, there weren't ANY cars in the n/s lanes and it stayed green a long time.
summary: crosswalk button not working. i was in front of the "cozy table" restaurant on w 3rd st (where it intersects with kimble) & the crosswalk button there is not working. i pressed it several times.
