U-report 198754. I was asked to send our address regarding this U-report of broken pavement that I am picking up so that it does not block the Sussex and Queensway storm drains, Our address is 2305 Sussex Drive. Bloomington's traffic signal timing is, in general, inadequate. Traffic patterns in the city are highly variable, changing drastically as students arrive and leave with the university schedule and as new student housing is constructed. It would be wonderful if the city were to invest in a system which changes traffic signals in real time as a function of data collected from sensors at intersections. Surely there will be graduate students, postdocs, and faculty in the Luddy School eager to help out with a cool "smart city" project...

Four street lights are out, one of which is apparently damaged
The street light on the Eastern lot line is not functioning properly. A tiny amount of light is present, but not enough to light the street at all.
Stoplight by Funeral Chapel on E 3rd is flashing red lights. Sunday, 2pm
2 lights not working on E Wyndam Ct.
Street lights are out on E Third St and S Washington St, E Smith Ave and S Washington, and E Second St and S Washington St. Every street lamp on S Washington has been out since at least the beginning of September. The entire street is pitch black at night and it creates a very unsafe environment for when I and other residents on or around S Washington walk home.
