I have a pothole at the end of my driveway, that seems to be halfway between my driveway and the street. The address is 1800 E Arden Drive, it is a limestone house with blue trim, and a gravel driveway. I just want to know if the city can repair this or if I have to do it myself. Thanks, Mark Benton markdbenton@att.net

Traffic Related Complaints

Case Date:
3/12/2018

HI, I suggest adding some red reflectors to the traffic bump-out at the corner of 3rd and Jackson as the street jogs around the Paris Dunning House and heads west on the one-way part of the street. For reasons I don't understand, there have been at least 4 people in the last couple weeks who have driven over the bump-out and had a flat tire. In one case the man broke the steering arm on his vehicle, and he could not even move very far out of the way. I know this bump-out has been there for years, but I think there used to be reflectors in the bump-out. It seems to me some reflectors could help. I assume some of the people call the city to complain. Also, one of the neighbors said similar accidents occur at the bump-out close to her house. Maybe new reflectors all down this section of Third Street would help.
