Hi. On Saturday, my 3-year-old child tripped and fell over a new patch in the street outside our house on Greenwood Avenue. Apparently, some of my neighbors wrote to you last week to report the bad condition of the street. On Thursday/Friday(?), several large potholes were filled in, but it seems to be fast emergengy patching. Some of the patches are now bumps instead of holes, with loose tarmac around the patch. First, I WOULD like to say thank you for acting on this so quickly. But I do have two questions: (i) Is the street scheduled for proper repair in the near future? and (ii) Is the sidepath at the end of the street, between Greenwood and Southdowns, also scheduled for improvement? My interest in this issue is not only as a resident. I am a member of the Rogers/Binford Safe Routes to School Committee, and I am concerned about upkeep for the children who use this as the main pedestrian route to school from the SoMax neighborhood. Multiple potholes on the yellow line at the driveway for Goodwill on E Second Street

On Fees Lane between 10th and 9th street on the west side, the sidewalk has a wooden repair. The concert stops and this is a section of the sidewalk that is made out of wood. It is not a wide as the sidewalk. This morning (2/7), in the rain, I stepped onto that piece of wooden bridge and slipped. I did not fall, but I came really close and now I'm feeling it in my back and legs. Clearly someone knew there was an issue, but, the time to fix the sidewalk correctly was not done. If I develop any issues because of your departments failure to maintain the sidewalk, or your failure to enforce sidewalk repairs, I will be sending the City a bill.

There is a section of pavement in the bike path / walking path / running path on Southdowns just east of Woodlawn Avenue. There's a big gap on the pavement. It is now big enough a bike tire could get caught in it or a person walking might find the uneven ground tough to navigate.

On the south east corner of E Allen St and S Washington St (E Allen St side) there is a metal sign post within the sidewalk that has been broken off at the base and it's a safety hazard.
