Why are the cross walks, bike lanes, turn lanes so poorly marked. The wear and tear from use and vehicles over the past four plus years has made these almost non-visable and your department has made no effort to correct the situation. This is true across the city wiith almost 70% intersections and crosswalks needing attention/maitence of some sort.
I think it is now more than three years since there have been proper crosswalks for pedestrians crossing Third Street at the Jordan Avenue intersection. It is more than two years since the first time I wrote to inquire about it (March 2016). I was told then that it would be done in the summer of 2016. I wrote again in early 2017, and was told it would be done in the spring of 2017. A friend of mine wrote in the summer of 2017 and was told it would be done in the fall. What the heck is going on? After the recent work at Third and Woodscrest, new crosswalks appeared immediately. For it to take years at a corner where the pedestrian traffic is much higher seems truly unconscionable.
Could some signage and/or barrels be put up to indicate that the right turn lane is closed at the Gordon Pike/South Walnut (southbound) intersection (for those turning west onto Gordon pike)? The barrels cannot be seen until the driver is actually in the very long turn lane. Could have a "get over" arrow back by the animal shelter. Thank you!

Pothole in front of 414 S Lincoln Uneven pavement and holes at the entrance to Twin Lakes Recreation Center, when turning right from E Second in the direction to the Twin Lakes baseball fields.
There still are numerous potholes on E Second, between High Street and Woodscrest, on both sides of the street. For instance there is one each close to the 2 signs for the Bart Villa apartments. Also several on Henderson, coming from Winslow, heading towards the intersection with Graham on the right hand side. Thank you!
Kirby Alley between E. Third St. and E. Smith Ave. has some very large pot holes. Please add these to your what I am sure is a very long list of street repairs. Thank you and have a great day.
HI, I suggest adding some red reflectors to the traffic bump-out at the corner of 3rd and Jackson as the street jogs around the Paris Dunning House and heads west on the one-way part of the street. For reasons I don't understand, there have been at least 4 people in the last couple weeks who have driven over the bump-out and had a flat tire. In one case the man broke the steering arm on his vehicle, and he could not even move very far out of the way. I know this bump-out has been there for years, but I think there used to be reflectors in the bump-out. It seems to me some reflectors could help. I assume some of the people call the city to complain. Also, one of the neighbors said similar accidents occur at the bump-out close to her house. Maybe new reflectors all down this section of Third Street would help.
The yellow has worn off the curb and a car consistently parks way too close to Kinser. I'm sure the buses have a hard time turning without hitting it. Thank you!
