There’s a pothole at the north side intersection of south Dunn street and Driscoll street. It has been a recurring issue; the city of Bloomington has tried to repair this same pothole with no success. The pothole has increasingly getting bigger over the years. Thank you

The photograph of this hole was taken Sept. 27, 2019. The same hole can be found in case #161692 from Oct. 27, 2017. Danna Workman reported that the hole had been repaired, but I can assure you it was not. It is located between 1217 and 1221 N Madison (closer to 1217, and so large as to be observable from satellite photos and Google Street View). Even though I knew it was there, in the dark the other night, I nearly turned an ankle in it. The whole sidewalk along the west side of N. Madison between 16th and 17th is in a terrible state of disrepair and has been the entire time I've lived in this neighborhood. I know that landowners are supposed to maintain the sidewalks, but I also know that it's the city's duty to enforce that rule. What I don't know is why Danna Workman reported that the hole was repaired when it wasn't. In any event, the sidewalk is still a hazard. What are you going to do about it?
I recently saw a map of sidewalks that showed the westside of Madison between 16th and 17th was in "fair" condition (https://bloomington.in.gov/transportation/sidewalks/repair-assistance/map.pdf). This stretch of sidewalk is narrow and broken and one of the worst well-traveled pedestrian areas in town. The east side of the street, labeled poor on the map, isn't nearly as bad. At the very least, I'd like the map corrected so there is an accurate recored. But, what I'd really like done is that this block is fixed. It is heavily traversed and will likely see more traffic once the bus routes change. Thank you.

Hi--we love the work the city road crews do to plow snow and sand for safe travel. We do have one request for our cul-de-sac, though (Skylark Court, east off of Highland Avenue). We'd appreciate it if the plow drivers could return and plow the large pile of snow covering the lone storm water drain off to the side, so as to uncover the drain. Also, in the future, can they please avoid piling snow that storm water drain. It is the drain for the entire cul-de-sac. In the photo, this location is shown approximately by the red arrow. When snow is piled over this drain, as snow melts from anywhere uphill, or if it rains, the snow pile caps off the drain and the bottom of the cul-de-sac floods. The storm water drain is at the bottom of the cul-de-sac, which is all one slope, so A LOT of water runs to that one drain. One concern we have with the flooding is that several utility hook-ups (electricity, telephone, and cable) are just a foot or two away from the drain. Things have been done this way for years, and we have always taken it upon ourselves to shovel the drain clear, but this year we realized it would be a great idea to ask if the plow drivers could do this instead. The alley next to my house needs to be graded (my car scrapes the middle of the alley road). There are two areas that are causing problems for my car. The first is one short stretch right at the entrance to the alley from Highland Ave. You have already done some work here (thank you!), but I still have to drive off to the side so that the bottom of my car doesn’t scrape. You can see that one side of the alley is lower than the other side. The second starts at the alley entrance from Ballantine Road (503 S. Ballantine Rd) and goes about halfway down the alley. In this area, the middle of the alley needs to be scraped down. Thank you.
