Potholes, Other Street Repair
3700-3746 Grasstree Court
- Case Date:
- 4/14/2014
Just past 3708 Grasstree Ct. on the cul-de-sac.
Large downed tree limbs (storm damage) blocking part of culdesac on Grasstree Court
The stop light at the intersection of south walnut and 37 does not always function right. 2 times in one week, the left turn arrow on the east side of 37 on walnut has been green when I have had a green light to go straight through the light coming from the west side of 37 off old 37.
Workers grinding the sidewalk are generating significant clouds of silica dust. Silica-generating grinding operations are supposed to be controlled by water or vacuum. The vacuum systems they are using are clearly ineffective. This is clear if you watch them work, it's also clear if you examine a recently ground section of sidewalk. Significant concrete dust remains on the sidewalk surface because the vacuum isn't picking it up. The city is substituting a respiratory hazard for a trip hazard. I don't want to get these guys in trouble, but would appreciate if the city would ensure they're using water or effective vacuum controls.
These "No Parking" signs appeared recently and do not appear to meet city standards. They seem to have not been installed or approved by the city. Can you please confirm these are approved by the city and if not can they be removed and/or citations issued to whoever installed them?
One large and several smaller potholes located on S Heirloom between E Cananda and E Creeks Edge Drives
Trees are blocking stop sign as you head south on Sare road. This morning was the 2nd time I have seen a car blow through that spot without even a delayed acknowledgement of the sign. **Main pedestrian way to Olcott Park and near Jackson Creek!!!
Very large pothole on east side of street just south of the Kindercare. Highly trafficked in both directions during child pickup and drop-off which makes moving "around" the pothole difficult when other cars are around. Also, this is one of the larger potholes I have seen around the Southside.
Timing on northbound Leonard Springs at w 2nd- Bloomfield-45. In mornings, only 5-6 cars get thru light cycle. Traffic at standstill almost to Fullerton Pike. This road takes a lot of traffic with westbound lane restrictions and 37 backup
