The property pictured on ticket is located on Xavier Ct. It is fenced in. The part of the property on the other side of the fence, along the walking path and street, is overgrown and covers quite a bit of the walkway. The people who own that property have neglected maintaining that area for many years now. I'm hoping that the city can clean it up or notify the property owner to please clean up the area so the walkway is not obscured by overgrown, invasive greenery. Thank you.
Some time ago, the street was patched by the curb of my next door neighbor. During this last storm the patch was raised up and broke into pieces. The larger pieces remained in that location but the rest of the patch and gravel washed down the street on it’s way to drain but ended up in front of my drive. The city was repairing the patch today and I asked if they could get the patch that was in front of my house and they said I would have to contact the city. I always remove debris that blocks drain but I never know what to do with all the gravel. If I know the sweeper is coming or I see them in the neighborhood I try to brush it into piles but the sweepers don’t generally get it all. Any help or suggestions are appreciated. There is a recurring pothole on the right side of the road going in the direction of IU campus. It was filled maybe last year or so but has fallen in again. This is causing cars to swerve around it and, since it's on a hill, this puts them in danger to hitting oncoming cars.
Cottage Grove and 11th. Street sign is askew.
Speed limit sign upside down
Graffiti on traffic sign (Dead End) on NE corner of intersection 12th and Lincoln.
Street sign at corner of 12th St and Lincoln St was pulled down yesterday or last night. It is lying in the grass.
No street sign at 15th & Lincoln or at 15 & Washington
The southwest corner of 3rd and Walnut has a curb ramp that is too high. It's one inch and shouldn't be over 1/2." So if a person with a rollator is going to up that ramp, their wheels hit and it the top goes forward and the wheels don't go up. This happened to a blind person I was escorting. It needs an asphalt patch to smooth it out and make it traversable.
