The sidewalk is covered with a think layer of run off gravel from the alley. Can this be cleaned up and something done to prevent this from continually happening?

The alley that runs between 800 North Grant Street and 415 East 11th Street (connecting East 11th and East 12th streets) is full of potholes and bumps, especially as it gets closer to 11th St. Many of us who live in these buildings have to drive through this alley every day in order to access the parking for our buildings. I know that the condition of this alley has been damaging to the suspension of my car, and I am sure I am not alone in this. I'm sure I speak for many when I say that we would greatly appreciate it if this alleyway were to be re-paved, or at least have some of the deeper potholes and bumps filled in and smoothed out. The pedestrian crosswalk signals at S. Walnut Street and E. Miller Drive do not work. It is impossible to cross at this point without these functioning.
Walk sign only partially functional Location: SW Corner of College Ave and 6th (social cantina) The walk sign facing across 6th (towards jewelry store) isn't displaying the walk icon with the white bulbs. The orange bulbs do work and show the stop hand and the countdown when it's time.

I live at 1514 E. Elliston Drive, and I believe that their might be an underground stream that has developed. The road where it meets the curb continues to create little sink holes and the same is happening to my yard where it meets the curb of the street. I have tried filling with soil, but it appears to get washed away. I encourage any suggestions or help. James Kobow
