Street sign at intersection of Sheffield & Plymouth has apparently been hit by a car (45 degree angle--no pedestrian or traffic hazard however)
Looked like the left turn bulb that faces west at 3rd and Smith was out last night. So turning from eastbound 3rd to n Smith
The vehicle sensors on Clarizz don't seem to be detecting correctly. I have set at that intersection, and the traffic signals take a long time to change, even if there's no traffic on 3rd Street. Wasn't sure if that is the way it is supposed to be or not.
A vehicle swiped the street sign at E Third St and S Pleasant Ridge Rd. The sign is now turned around and damaged.
when going east on 3rd st, after smith road you cant hardley turn in to edwards square, across from office lounge. traffic heading towards you from the east and traffic coming from behind you is dangerous. because theres no turn lane there. its a busy road, and is a real proble. i work in edwards square and we hear constant worries about it. it really needs to be adressed. thanks. if you have any questions you can call me at 812 -272-8721. thanks mr hiestand
Park Ridge neighborhood - We need the street dept. to re-stencil all of the traffic calming symbols and stripes on all the speed bumps. Also, all posts with safety reflectors need to be inspected. Some missing altogether as well as many round reflectors missing. Please follow up - we would appreciate it! Weather is perfect for such work! Dead end on east end of E. Sheffield Dr. Traffic is entering through a non driveway from wooded area creating potential traffic hazards. Trucks are removing the center diamond sign and driving into private property (not a city issue). Utilizing roadway improperly and potentially damaging city sign. Solution would be to erect a metal guard rail at the dead end to stop traffic entering through an unauthorized driveway in the city and lessen the traffic on the city street in this quiet neighborhood.
I hate to put complain about snow removal, but for some reason when they came down Cambridge they piled a whole load of snow over the storm drain and since everything is melting so quickly it's important to have these cleared. I've cleared the others but this is just too much snow for me to clear. Thank you!
We have not had a snow plow once up our street and we cannot get out to take care of essential work (husband’s job) plus to care for our elderly parents. We live in Park Ridge East, we figured our road would get one plow at least within the 24 hours since it started snowing. We fear the plows just aren’t coming up our cul de sac. We hope that we can get added to the route soon.
