Not sure what we've done to warrant repeated passive-aggressive placement of our trash/recycling bin. We try to follow the placement rules, and whenever they're not full we don't put the bins out so the crew can have a pass. On top of property taxes we also pay for the bin. I thought perhaps we should return the recycling bin and just put everything in the trash - save us money and spare us this behavior? But I believe in recycling.
So let's try this first. My neighbor has his bins walked up the driveway to his garage. and that way they're not in the middle of the driveway or street. My I have this service too please? Or will my property be in danger from some passive aggressive vandalism by the city staff?

Good Morning. After our recycling collection this morning, our recycling bin was left damaged, & the lid is barely hanging on now. If we could get a replacement, it would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Bin was broken upon recycling collection a few weeks back. Now, the lid of our bin came off completely and was collected by the truck today. A new bin would be greatly appreciated!
Thank You!

The trash cans in the business district, along Kirkwood Ave. stink.
- Case Date:
- 8/12/2012
The 500 block of West Kirkwood has a trash container fastened to the #3 bus stop sign on the south side of the street. Folks are good about using it to dispose of their trash. However, the bus stop on the north side of the street is without a trash container---so there's litter all over the grass, curb and sidewalk. I don't know who distributes or cleans these containers, but I'd like to see a trash container attached to the stop sign on the north side of the street in the 500 block of West Kirkwood. This area is part of the BEAD district and should be kept as clean as possible.

Dear Ms Carter,
Good Morning.
Thank you so much-I appreciate the help (Reference uReport Case #163754)
I talked to you on last Friday. You asked me about my problems and the same day sent help to (1) fix the wheels of the recycle bin and (2) to fix the mail box and attach it firmly to the stand (the base of the mailbox is broken but that's not creating any problems; moreover, it was a day of constant rain and there was no way to address that)
Overall, I am thankful and satisfied. Based on past experiences, getting something done at home has been a real hassle. So, the expectations were about long delay and repeated requests and so on. So, I really appreciate the courteous, prompt and professional service. And, as someone who has been a government employee throughout one's career (I have always taught in public universities), I also feel extra proud.
With sincere regards,
Arkadev

Hello, with the rain this past weekend, I was surprised that both of my containers, waste and recycling, had several inches of water in them. Apparently the lids do not close securely allowing rain to enter which deteriorates paper goods and trash if not in plastic.
