Regarding the new trash pickup system, what payment arrangements will be in effect for a resident like me who travels a lot for business? I am out of Bloomington for at least 4 months of the year, when I will have no trash for pickup. MMcG

Trash and or recycle collection is being collected at 7:45 am on Kinser Pike. Could this schedule be adjusted so that those who are trying to get to work don't have to wait 10 to 15 minutes for the truck to finishing collection. This is a poor time to collect on Kinser since it is the route to the school and the only route out of three additions.
Trash pickup should not be delayed for weather. My business is open and my people are working so my government should be open and it's people working too. Especially since I'm paying for it with my taxes. Should I delay my utilities payment by 2 days this month for weather as well?
We are located near a bus stop on 17th and College and are curious if we can please have a larger trash can put in place? It consistently overflows and blows into the yard of our business (Like Law Group, 1211 N. College Ave). We appreciate your consideration.
Trash bin wheel was found to be broken after truck pickup this morning
Pinehurst Drive trash was not picked up today on Thursday, 3/14. Recycling came per usual, but the entire block still has full trash cans out front.
Once again after the crew had been advised not to collect trash on Kinser Pike between 7:30 and 8:00 am, they did it again this morning. There is no way to pass and it takes 10 to 15 minutes to reach 46 and Kinser when collection is taking place at this time. There is no other route out of our four additions except for Kinser.

I was crossing walnut and miller drive light today on my walk signal when a city of Bloomington trash truck nearly ran me over. If I hadn't jumped back in time I would be dead right now. I had the right of way as it was at the crosswalk on the walk signal. They never even slowed down. I am requesting if there is any surveillance of this light if it could be looked at around 12:30pm on 5/27. I was too shook up to get a number or anything from the truck but I feel this is something that should be brought up to the drivers of the truck that they need to look out for legally crossing pedestrians.
