Someone tagged the new brick retaining wall on West 17th St last year, and Carrie Winkel reported it. Today we discovered a backpack full of needles and narcotics paraphernalia strewn on the sidewalk below the tagging. Maybe it means something? So we are asking again that the city remove the graffiti. It is on the retaining wall where Lindbergh St. tees into W. 17th. It's a public wall, not private. I am requesting on behalf of Crescent Bend Neighborhood Association.

I live in the North Dunn Street area of Bloomington. From the 45/46 Bypass on North Dunn going towards Griffy Lake there is a lot of trash on the sides of the street. Both sides of the street are full of bottles, paper and just general trash. It is especially bad around the stop sign area at Tammarck and the trash continues all the way to Griffy Lake and down to Old 37. Can the city please pick up this unsightly trash? Thank you

Referring to case #170992, the issues reported in that case are problems that I have also reported for the area of Oolitic Dr between the 800s and W. 11th St. Not only can the structure and design of N. Oolitic Dr not handle heavy construction equipment, but it can't handle the increased work traffic in general. Once the traffic increases exponentially due to the new apartments, it's going to become a true mess. We all ask that N. Oolitic Dr be reconstructed with sidewalks on both sides up against curbs, street lights, shared bike lane painting, crosswalk painting, fixed drainage at W. 12 St, new heavier duty road surface, and a little more respect and dignity given to our street and our Forest Homes Addition neighborhood. After all, this will only add to the appeal of Union at Crescent Point. Please pass both this and Tony Nunn's report to Adam Wason as well. Thank you.

Greetings: I am the Director of the Farmer House Museum and I would like to address the safety concern in our ally that connect between Morton and College at 10th Street. I have a detailed video taken by our board member that shows the area of concern and safety. We have applied for an AARP grant to secure funding to repair and update the parking pad and the alley inbetween the Woodburn House and the Farmer House museum. Accessibility issue on E. 6th Street sidewalks, behind the public library. Where the library's driveways cross the sidewalk, the wheelchair areas are very narrow and uneven. Is this something the city will replace, or is it up to the library?
