Hello, there is excessive growth and illegal dumping behind my house at 1221 West 6th street. Someone has thrown a toilet back there. You can easily access the area via an alley way to the parking area behind the houses on Kirkwood. Thank you for your attention to this area. -J

Graffiti is out of control. need vigilant quick cleanup to prompt this to stop. Mostly on public signs etc. But all over makes driving in this neighborhood seem like you're in ghetto.
Someone tagged the new brick retaining wall on West 17th St last year, and Carrie Winkel reported it. Today we discovered a backpack full of needles and narcotics paraphernalia strewn on the sidewalk below the tagging. Maybe it means something? So we are asking again that the city remove the graffiti. It is on the retaining wall where Lindbergh St. tees into W. 17th. It's a public wall, not private. I am requesting on behalf of Crescent Bend Neighborhood Association.
The advertisement for Beach Juice alcoholic drinks has been spray painted on the sidewalks at each corner of the block surrounding Big Red Liquors. The images are at the following corners: 9th and walnut 9th and college 8th and college 8th and walnut (back from the intersection at the NE corner of the ocean building) I thought it might have just been spray chalk and would disappear with a rain or two but I have verified it really is black paint and water has no effect on it so it will likely need to be pressure washed off. With all of the construction of the new apartment buildings along college and walnut, are there any plans to fix the streets? the area just south of 17th and college is extremely dangerous with the addition of the parking spaces and NO lane markings. I think the city needs to focus on the roads a little more, especially the main street through town. The area of college and walnut between hwy 46 and the square has been neglected for too long and needs repaired.
Greetings: I am the Director of the Farmer House Museum and I would like to address the safety concern in our ally that connect between Morton and College at 10th Street. I have a detailed video taken by our board member that shows the area of concern and safety. We have applied for an AARP grant to secure funding to repair and update the parking pad and the alley inbetween the Woodburn House and the Farmer House museum.
