The street light in our cul de sac is going out. It only stays on for a minute then shuts off. The light will go back on but shuts off again. This repeats through the night and has been going on for several weeks. I live at 2301 Pierson Ct. In the Stands addition and the light is the only one in our cul de sac.
street light in backyard of: tag ID #763 673 "Inspected 2006 Cinergy" This light in our backyard turns on when it gets dark, however, it makes a very loud buzzing sound. Is there any way we can request to have this light disabled? As far as I can see, it only lights our backyard and we have no need for it. Many thanks,
Street light out at the corner of High and Covenanter. It's been out a while.
There were a number of street lights on the west side of College Ave not shining Thursday evening, they were all in order and spanned from 17th street north to the intersection at the Bypass where it crosses College.
There is still an intersection light out at the intersection of N Woodburn Ave and 15th street. The lights at the intersections in this residential area are essential for safe walking and driving and crime deterrence because not enough people (myself excluded) do not keep their porch lights on. As a result this area can be extremely dark which provides cover for various activities which might involve crime. I just had a break-in at my back porch door Easter Sunday morning (drunk student who thought he was home, he passed out and urinated all over the floor, police were called) despite motion-controlled lighting at my driveway and 24x7 light at my back porch door. I have had to install a police-dispatched security system as a result. But city lights (what few there are) MUST be checked and maintained. Why can't police patrols notice lights out?? I would like an answer via email. Thank you. Your attention to these matters is usually excellent. I hope it is regarding this matter.
