There has been an abandoned car parked in front of my house (519 E 14th St.) for a couple weeks. It's a dark green sedan, missing the front bumper. The bumper was on our front lawn for awhile, but I think someone stole it during the last football game. We would like it to be removed/towed so that we can use that space for parking our cars again. We have received 2 complaints about the alley being blocked adjacent to this property. The alley runs north and south and is between Fatih Akin's junkyard and the mixed-use building on the corner. The overgrowth is from Akin's property. Justin, Lisa told me to assign this one to Adrian but the system won't let me.
There’s an abandoned van in this parking lot. The van’s door is open.Vagrants are living in this van. An arm was hanging out of the door in the van today-I guess someone was passed out in there. There’s trash all around it. This is located in the Railroad Park neighborhood behind Switchyard Park. It is directly behind Eye of the Needle-this is the 3rd complaint I made to the Bloomington Police Department about this occurrence.
On my way to work this morning I was almost hit by a vehicle that did not stop at the stop sign by the Boys and Girls Club on W 12th St. They drove right through the sign. I was able to get the vehicle's license plate, but I'm not sure if that should be included in this, or if I should provide that to someone if I am contacted. After this incident, I feel like a police presence should be at this stop sign in the morning. There are kids and adults that are constantly walking around this area, and I do not want anyone to get hit because someone is blowing through stop signs.
I wish to report this as a "noise violation" to Capt. Pedigo. I think he will understand this report. There is a very loud red Dodge pickup truck that parks along the northbound side of Lindbergh St. The loudness of the truck is a massive disturbance to myself and the neighborhood. Why? He comes and goes all day and into the night. Back and forth and back and forth. Around and around and around. That much travel in and out of our neighborhood doesn't make for a very peaceful life here. Not only does he come and go constantly, but he revs the engine which is loud just by itself, and often peals out. It's a red Dodge pickup truck, badly beat up with a mismatched right rear wheel. It's extremely loud and disturbs the peace. Could you check into it for us? Thank you.
There has been a car with a flat tire parked on the curb for at least seven weeks. We do not know who it belongs to.
Construction workers at this site on the west side of College Mall Rd routine park as many as three trucks on the sidewalk/ multiuse path. The only way to pass them is to step it bike into oncoming traffic.
