Several complaints have been filed regarding the speeding and noise level of Tow Time Towing Company trucks. We are seeing a reoccurrence of these concerns during the past 2 weeks.

With the recent crime in the neighborhood, it would be nice to see regular police patrols in the evenings.
The person who lives at this address produces unreasonable noise on a regular basis in their truck. Most definitely this is a diesel truck and yes, those are louder than other vehicles. However, this person has the need to accelerate intensely on Fairview from stop sign to stop sign and then loudly accelerate the short distance to their house. This happens most every single day and multiple times as this person regularly comes and goes with and without a trailer full of equipment. According to Bloomington's Municipal Code section 14.09.040, unreasonable noise shall mean sound that is of a volume, frequency, or pattern that prevents, disrupts, injures, or endangers the health, safety, welfare, prosperity, comfort or repose of reasonable persons of ordinary sensitivities within the city of Bloomington, given the time of day or environment in which the sound is made. Also included, and described in more detail in Section 14.09.030 of the Bloomington Municipal Code, is unreasonable noise from cars including specifics about mufflers and baffles. It is unknown as to if this is an OEM/stock exhaust system but it is disruptive on a regular basis even when inside a house with all the windows closed. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Blue civic has not moved since last year
Living on N Walnut for 4 years, I've noticed there's a marked increase in the frequency of drivers revving their engines unnecessarily loud as they go through the W 11th & N Walnut section. The sounds and incidences are so loud that they have interrupted my meetings, indoor activities, and startled me to drop my kitchenware. My neighbors have also shared this concern on how this happens much more often recently, especially in the past 2 years. I remember there used to be a couple of police officers stationed off the W 11th & N Walnut section and it was noticeably more quiet and peaceful. But I haven't seen them at the same spot anymore and the corresponding noise issues arose instantaneously. My neighbors and I would love for the city to either station an officer here to deter these activities and, in the long run, implement policies at curbing these disruptive actions from reckless people.
White Chevy Venture with Indiana plate ULD461 and 2 flat tires - hasn't moved in over 3 months. Parked at 717 N Washington St.
Resident (or visitor) driving a silver Ford Edge (IN-214EKW, I think) turned left (west) onto 11th Street from Lincoln and sped down the entire block against the one-way posted direction to get to Washington Street. This short block has no sidewalks and visibility is difficult given the mature, evergreen conifers in the area. People and animals are often walking in the street and are not expecting a careless driver to travel in that direction. This is definitely not the street to drive down the wrong way. Please advise this person that rules are there for a reason, and unilaterally disregarding them due to perceived inconvenience is selfish and uncivil, in addition to being a traffic violation.

Car is parked in yellow zone at corner of Maple and West 7th St. Car is creating a hazard for cars trying to turn corner and is blocking a fire hydrant.
