Possible illegal temporary sign "House and Roof Pressure Washing" on a pole in front of Red Lobster (2617) on E Third Street.
Possible illegal temporary sign "Enroll Now Preschool CC" in the grass next to a tree on N Pete Ellis Drive, right across from the large Cambridge Square Apartments (=307 N Pete Ellis Dr) sign, if you are heading towards the railroad tracks.
Possibly illegal yellow "College Movers and Junk Hauling" sign in the grass next to the road on N Pete Ellis Drive, going towards E John Hinkle, on the right hand side, across from the IU hot houses.
The fact that you removed the 'Millican House for Sale' sign (#187624, case closed) on S Nota Drive because it was in the ROW, did not deter the realtor to put another sign back under the STOP sign on Nota at the intersection with E Covenanter.
Not sure how to lodge opposition but heard Curry is wanting to build self-storage at 4600 Morningside. Total waste of a valuable piece of property on a Greenway. That East/West Greenway should be places people want to bike and walk to, not a wasteful self storage area that will be all vehicular traffic. Not to mention it's in a residential neighborhood and there is not a traffic light there and it will be THREE stories of nothing but storage? We can do better, Bloomington. If the City can reject for any reason please do so.
Hello. If there is a better way to provide input please let the neighborhood know but we learned that self storage is going into Park Ridge East on Morningside. The industry is low-income predatory and operates on a model that intends for low engagement. This is the opposite for what should be at the intersection of a Greenway (Longview) and a major road (3rd). Surely there are more industrial locations for the city suited for such a business. It is not true commerce (which would be awesome in that area) but is "set it and forget it" investing. Ugly, wasteful, and most importantly the wrong choice for the location. Definitely build something, but something that people will regularly access and use.
'Creative Writing Summer Camps' sign in the ROW on S Highland across from Short Street, if you are coming from the Y and heading towards E Azalea Street.
Black and yellow "Pressure Washing" sign nailed to a pole on S Rogers Street at the intersection of S Rockport Rd and S Walnut, diagonally across from the gas station (=2002 S Rogers).
"Embrace Wellness Clinic" sign near 2801 E Buick Cadillac Blvd, in the grass, most likely in the ROW, close to the intersection with S College Mall Rd.
"Embrace Wellness Clinic" sign in the grass next to the road on E Volt Street, across from building 3225. The Elevate map has not been updated, so it is not possible for me to see yet if this is in the ROW.
