We have substantial concerns with potential Greenway roadblocks City Council we heard were proposing to how it may impact Park Ridge East and our Greenway? We were told after years of advocacy that we were finally getting calming to East Morningside (this being typed as a racer just roared their engine on that road). We want to make sure planning is still moving forward in 2023 for the Greenway improvements, with improvement construction to follow in early 2024?
'Junk Removal' sign on Buick Cadillac Blvd possibly in the ROW, near the Simon Mall marquee across from the parking lot to Target and former Macy's.
The bike lane on 7th approaching the IMU is a real big problem. This afternoon is took me 20 minutes to go one block from 7th to IMU parking because there is NO MORE BUS lane. I think the bike lane needs to be removed. I was shocked at the slowness of the traffic. It also causes problems on the adjacent streets. This was not thought out clearly and needs to be fixed.
"Now Hiring Caregivers" sign in the grass at the corner of Patterson and S Rogers.
Walkers need a pedestrian crossing signal and equally important, Pete Ellis road to hospital must complete its sidewalk all the way to this intersection. We walk to the hospital and here must walk in the street, where employees and patients sometimes race home to 10th St., not expecting walkers in the street. Help! It may be IU property that needs the sidewalk. Please muscle them to do so. Thank you!
This corner seems to become more and more popular to place signs: 3 signs at 11th Street and N Rogers, in the grass across from Upland and the Woodshop building.
