Light trespass. Exterior lights on the porch unshielded in violation of city code measurably affecting neighboring properties. This is a known issue documented by city site visit measuring light trespass. Currently lights are left on 24/7.
There are exterior lights that are very bright and unshaded on the east side of this house that are lighting up neighboring properties. This has been documented by the city as light trespass and is a code violation, but seems like nothing is being done about this. They have been left on for days, day and night, and it is disruptive to nature and it is annoying. Is it ok because they have a million dollar house? Please enforce this. Thank you for giving this your attention.
This photo was taken on April 28, 2025, before 10 pm. It is a photograph of one of the lights on the east side of the house, on the porch. The light is completely unshielded, glaring, very bright, with light trespass onto the neighboring property. The photo of the light was taken from inside the neighboring house to the south/ The light trespass onto this neighboring property from 2104 Woodstock place was measured by someone from the city, and confirmed, years ago. This is an ongoing problem. It is a disruptive nuisance. Please enforce the municipal code. These are the violations of the municipal code by the owners of 2104 Woodstock place: lighting: (5) Glare. All lighting fixtures shall be installed so as not to cause glare at or beyond the property line and shall not be aimed toward traffic. Shielding. ii. Light Trespass. House is lit up like a motel 6 in Las Vegas including unshielded lights in violation of city code.
The branches encroaching on the sidewalk have gotten to be too much on High St. just South of Wimbleton. Pedestrian traffic is significant here, especially now that school has started, and it's honestly challenging for adults to get past one another while ducking under the branches. This is a popular place for people to ride their bikes on the sidewalk, taking their kids to school, and an adult biking on the sidewalk going down the hill might be in danger of being decapitated by all the branches.
Painting on side of building at vodoo shop. It is a vodoo painting.
Painting on side of building is part of signage.
I would like to suggest that 2 speed bumps be installed on S Jackson St between 3rd St and 4th St. Drivers use this route as a shortcut when traveling east-west on W Kirkwood and W 3rd. They avoid the light at Kirkwood and Rogers to save time by driving fast on S Jackson St. The drivers usually speed along S Jackson St, making for a dangerous situation. At least, a study of traffic patterns on S Jackson should be conducted.
