Sidewalk on Northside of 14th Street. Just east of Madison Street. This is the South side of property at 312 West 14th Street. Maple tree planted too close to the sidewalk blocking half of the sidewalk. This is a brand new sidewalk that we just spent significant sum of money on. Please see to it that it is clear. Transportation plan insists that the sidewalk is clear of any and all obstructions.
The walking bridge on Second Street between Rose Ave and Anita was damaged by a fallen tree about a month ago and has been closed since then. To walk to work, I have to invade a neighbor's privacy by walking through her yard. I have noticed quite a few people (including an elderly one today) walking on the street, which is very tight traffic-wise. Does the city have plans to fix it? A second concern is one I've asked about several times over the years. Since I've heard about the plan to reconfigure the bike lanes on 3rd Street beginning on Rose, is it possible to put a crosswalk there (across 3rd on Rose). I have found this also to be a hazardous place to navigate on my walk to work in the IU School of Education on North Rose Ave. Many thanks for your attention to both questions! Once again construction equipment has the alley blocked in the Alley between 6th & Kirkwood Avenue North of College Avenue. This continued issue is causing ongoing issues for the businesses on College to get deliveries and to have trash removed.
12th St. Between Indiana Ave. and Walnut St. is a two-way street, but two cars can't safely drive on the street at the same time because the street isn't wide enough to accommodate two lanes of traffic and street parking. Often you have to pull over to let people through because the street isn't wide enough, and I've almost lost a mirror because someone was too close several times.
The Flying Fish construction at 1020 East Maxwell Lane is very disruptive. There is a lot of noise from early morning through the afternoon. Trucks beeping, sawing... Since I am working from home, the noise really interferes with my being able to work effectively. There are so many trucks parked along Manor Road that people have difficulty driving down Manor. The large dumpster they have on Maxwell Lane, blocks the view and makes turning onto Maxwell rather dangerous. More trucks parked on Maxwell add to this challenge. This construction has been going on a long time.
More no parking signs might be required as cars consistently on the no parking side of W. Howe.
Because of all the new construction in the area, there are a *huge* number of cars now vying for the limited spaces. The result is that people are parking in places they shouldn't, and backyards have become parking lots. This location is only one example. On the alley south of the house, over the weekend there was a Lexus with Illinois plates (AC7_2559) parked in the alley, blocking it. At other times (including this morning) another vehicle was parked in the same location (dark red Hyundai Santa Fe, photo attached). This problem will only get worse if Planning continues to allow developers to increase density in this area. There are already *NO* parking spots available on the streets. None. Zilch. It is no wonder people are parking in the alleys.

Vey large flashing screen/sign on top of their building. Totally visible as a flashing sign/screen from Matlock Heights neighborhood. Seems to be on all the time, so not just an event screen. Pollutes with flashing light into the treescape.
The ZBT Fraternity can be found through Google as being a fraternity house. They are on cease and desist as well as not able to operate in the neighborhood.
