The line of sight leaving Switchyard Park by the police substation to exit onto Patterson is in need of some help. First, when you look to your right (east) there is an overgrowth of brush and bushes that obstruct the view. Then, when you look to your left (west) the Switchyard Park sign is in the way!
This park is horrendous for traffic flow. There is not a single entrance/exit to the park that has a well planned or safe means of entering and exiting. All three of the main parking areas exit onto a busy street with no traffic signals or signs to aid in the entry or exit. Traffic backs up on Rogers, for instance, at times when one car is waiting to make a left turn into the park on southbound Rogers. This is going to only be worse when there is a concert or an event going on. What a bad design!

Easement is completely overgrown with trash accumulating and is partially blocking sidewalk and makes social distancing nearly impossible along this stretch. This is the easement area for 1417 Bradshire and 1423 Bradshire. I believe these are rental properties.

The Flying Fish construction at 1020 East Maxwell Lane is very disruptive. There is a lot of noise from early morning through the afternoon. Trucks beeping, sawing... Since I am working from home, the noise really interferes with my being able to work effectively. There are so many trucks parked along Manor Road that people have difficulty driving down Manor. The large dumpster they have on Maxwell Lane, blocks the view and makes turning onto Maxwell rather dangerous. More trucks parked on Maxwell add to this challenge. This construction has been going on a long time.

The planter at the Switchyard Park entrance on Rogers Street (south of the warehouse, east of the power substation) is heavily overgrown with perfectly selected flora to obscure the line of sight for people trying to exit the park. I was driving north on Rogers and a car almost pulled out into the road in front of me. I could barely see them behind the overgrowth and they obviously could not see me.
That entire stretch of Rogers by the park is looking a little rough, to be honest. There is a lot of overgrown stuff along Rogers. The line of sight exiting the park is the most egregious and the most dangerous. Can this get taken care of before someone gets hurt? Thanks.

There is a utility pole on the southwest corner of Grimes and Palmer. It is covered with heavy vines and overgrowth. Drivers heading North or turning onto Grimes have to pull out onto Grimes to get a view of the eastbound traffic. Pretty dangerous. Thank you for your help. L Gallagher 1225 S Palmer
