The roller slide has a loose roller that us lower than others and causes a gap to catch fingers, toes, and clothing.
The tall slide was replaced with a zip tied grate without the zip ties clipped, so it can poke kids.
Bryan Park needs a better park than this!

So many children bike and walk through Olcott Park to get to Jackson Creek Middle School. Why are there no lights for the extremely dark conditions at 7:30 am? Even one light along the sidewalk or walking path would help immensely.

Bryan park is a gem with its rolling hills and lovely planting season. The place ment of solar panels destroys the view shed and puts an ugly scar on the landscape. Could not the panels been put on the roof of the pool building? Furthermore, those of us entering from Woodlawn will not be able to see into the park making it much less safe.

Poop in the dogpark. Several months ago both the supply of bags and the container for used bags were moved from within the dog fields themselves to an area within the double gate entry area. Perhaps this was an attempt at efficency but it has had a sigificanlty adverse affect on the conditions in the park itself with much more poop being left on the ground and more full bags being left scattered around the park. Yesterday I picked up 11 full bags left out in the field and this is not uncommon. Both the bags and the refuse containers need to be returned to their original spots to turn this trend around. This is a great park, let's keep it that way. Thank you, please let me know how you are proceeding. Thanks, Dirk Fraser

Most of the links on the Deer Task Force Page are not linked properly. (https://bloomington.in.gov/boards/deertaskforce)
No POC link on page for follow up of the Deer Task Force Report.
Report is 6 years old. What's the current status? Griffy Lake has been culled. What about Residential Bloomington as there is no movement between Griffy Lake and Residential Bloomington? There is a growing population in Residential Bloomington.

I have been meaning to submit this for years. At the toddler (upper) Bryan Park playground there is a digger that is entirely inappropriate for the age group. It's too tall, too heavy, too difficult to use for really any kid under the age of 10. My toddler son desperately wants to play with it and has gotten injured or come close to injury numerous times in his attempts. It has very heavy metal arms and it spins so he has had other kids spin it into him... it's shouldn't be on this playground. It would be great if it could be replaced with a smaller one the size of the ones at the lower playground... OR even smaller would be even better as even the lower playground ones are hard for the 2-3 year old age range. The kids definitely WANT a digger... just one they can actually use. Thanks!

Whoever installed the StoryWalk at Butler (9th St.) Park left two piles of leftover concrete on either side of the paved trail, at the northwest corner. They are a few cubic feet each and have again disappeared into the undergrowth.

Water fountain near NE corner of Showers Bldg has not been turned on this year. Additionally, the fountain near the flag pole hasn't worked for years. Water is important for people (and dogs) doing their bit for health and public engagement. If we can't have water, announce a policy and remove the fountains.

Hi,
There is a substantial amount of poison ivy along the path that cuts through the middle of Bryan Park, especially toward the east. It's right at dog/toddler height. Could this be eradicated? Thank you.

There are two trees/large branches down in Sherwood Oaks that need to be cut up and moved off the path.
Thanks!
