Someone has cut a hole in the railroad fence in this approximate location on the Grimshaw Trail. The picture shows the hole and the insert is the nearest utility pole to the east of the damage.
There are mattresses, a small dresser, trash and broken down vehicle parked/abandoned at the northern trailhead on Dunn St. My neighbor says he saw a tent and campsite in the trail early this morning as well. I don't mind the squatter camping, but the excessive trash is unacceptable.
Drainage problem reappears on Grisham Trail. Someone needs to move dirt/debris and remove tree/brush clippings to have water reach the drain. Otherwise, a huge puddle emerges. This has been an issue for years. Please fix. See pic. thanks
There is an individual who at least on a weekly basis, tosses many empty beer cans (up to a half case at a time) into the cleared area of Griffey that is on Dunn, across from the group home. The Blue Ridge Bushwackers have removed the honeysuckle from this area and work to keep it clear. We regularly pick up this person's litter. Is there anything that can be done to discourage this behavior? Could we put up a fake camera and/or sign warning them? What suggestions would you have for us? Thank you! Jeannie Galbreath
Person has been camping in Griffy Nature preserve for weeks and there is trash collecting around this site. Also posted a "no trespassing" sign.
Tree of Heaven is an invasive species and I found one for the first time this summer growing up in my back yard (Lakewood Ct). My back yard backs up onto Dunn St and I realized it mostly likely spread from a few that are growing quite large just across Dunn Street in Griffy nature preserve. I would appreciate if the city could take the necessary measures to remove/kill the plants that are across from my yard so they don't spread any further into the woods in my yard or other houses in Blue Ridge neighborhood. Thank you
Limb down on the Rail Trail about 1/2 mile south of Country Club.
Branches fallen with the snow blocking the trail in latimer woods
Someone has smeared either dog poop, human poop or mud on the drinking fountain at the trailhead for the rail trail off of country club. Yuk!
