The grey faux-rock climbing feature at the playground has feces smeared on it. I do not know if Parks maintenance has the appropriate tools to wash it off and dispose of it, but if you do it would be great if you could clean it up. (I try to clean up things I see at the park, but this is beyond my abilities!) The attached photo shows the climbing feature, but doesn't really show the feces.

There is a bunch of trash next to and under the tree. Someone might be living there. It is near the tennis court

The lower parks area near at the old baseball diamonds smells horrible and has been progressively gotten worse. “Hopefully” it’s just sewage or something but given the unhoused use it I worry if someone has passed.

A request to have 2 small branches cut as they are dropping tons of walnuts on sidewalk where kids walk to Fairview.
Tree is at 317 N. Fairview St.
Tree belongs to Jane Henderson, landlady, who does not care if branches get cut.
Years ago city cut down a Siberian Elm on her property that leaned over street.
Reporting as don’t want walnuts falling in little kids heads walking to & from school.
THANK YOU.

Every time I come to Bryan park to enjoy a quiet walk with my dog there are 2-3 mowers zipping around in every area of the park. You can’t get away from them! I appreciate that the park is well maintained, but today (10-21-25) there are 3 mowers, and the grass is short and leaves already mulched. There is no need for mowers here right now at all. I know you want to keep workers busy but the park is about us and nature, not big loud machines.

A limb on a walnut tree appears to be damaged and is hanging low over the street. The tree is about halfway between Roosevelt and Jefferson on the north side of the pedestrian path where Fourth Street would be. The second of the two large limbs extending south from the tree appears to be slightly fractured above street level. Not sure if it poses any immediate danger, but I don't think the end of that limb used to be so close to the ground.

Many tree roots in this area, raising the bike path like speed bumps. Noticed they are growing and are becoming quite a nuisance for wheelchair especially. They are also quite hard to see in certain lighting conditions. There is also another large raised root across from Rev Butler Park path entrance off bike path.
