Does anybody know if there are plans to improve the "Bloomington Rail Trail", the segment between country club and that road? This year it's suddenly much worse than it has been...there are places that were washed out that got replaced with the wrong type of gravel (shoulda used some sort of "crusher run", imo) and there's even a big wash out that didn't get any repair at all.
Bryan Park women's restroom was locked this morning at around 8 am. When does it open? Park hours are 5 am to 11 pm.

Good morning, last evening I went for a walk in Olcott Park and admired the several "prairie" gardens along the walk-ways with mowed paths among them. Today I'm writing to ask this email be forwarded to the landscaper who grew and maintains those gardens. I want to add a smaller version to my own yard and have some questions about who to proceed and wonder whether they might share their knowledge on the topic. Or perhaps they can point me to resources. Thank you.
The trail is totally covered from side to side by a slurry of mud and gravel. This is the Clear Creek Trail. I would give the location as on the Clear Creek Trail between Rockport and That Road, about where Fullerton / Gordon Pike would hit the Clear Creek Trail if it connected through. There is a gravel path that goes from the trail back up the hill towards the east, as a reference point. It is half a mile from Rockport Road on the trail towards That Road.
This is not an issue, however, I'm wanting to find out who I need to speak with regarding hosting a yoga event/class at one of the city parks, Olcott Park to be specific. I would not require the use of any picnic tables/shelters, and would just like to be able to use a grassy area to hold a yoga class. It would like be on a Friday evening, during park hours, but fairly late, around twilight. Do I need to get special approval for this, and if so, who should I speak with? Tree branches have gotten so long they are hanging in the roadway. All through Sweetbriar neighborhood. Cars have to veer out of lane to avoid. High profile vehicles are breaking branches out of the trees. Trees need to be trimmed back so we can drive.
Was sitting on bench in Park Ridge East Park the other night at the tennis courts (is on the south side of the courts) and noticed the seat is deteriorating (peeling and rusty; go take a look). As it's the only one there, could you please see to it that it gets replaced? Fixed is fine but doubt it can be fixed. Thank you! It's awesome to have great neighborhood parks in town.
Ferguson Dog Park. My puppy was bitten by a pitbull that was not neutered. I rushed my puppy to the vet, where I am currently, because he is bleeding from the wounds. I was unable to get the owner or dog's name, nor the car that they drove. I had not seen the pitbull or owner there before. I just want to report and make aware of the incident that occurred today, June 20th 2019, at around 1:30 pm.
