Wasp nest inside structure
Wasp nest inside structure
The trail downhill from the parking lot to the tennis courts is no longer useable by wheelchairs
Two wasp nests, up underneath the top of the green poles
A large branch fell during the storm this week in the wods to the east of the basketball court. It is projecting into Renwick condo backyard. I picked up the part that fell into the yard and put back into the park.
Unsafe walking conditions on sidewalk due to lack of snow and ice removal
deep sand and gravel collects on trail due to elevated soil and grass blocking proper draining. The worst area is on trail corner adjacent to Moores Pike and culvert underneath. The area becomes problematic for wheelchairs and strollers when muddy. risky for kids on bikes and scooters. thanks
Entire trail system needs care. from Sherwood oaks park to trail around football field. Very overgrown, unsafe paved surface due to roots and thin pavement.
Near the sidewalk toward the parking lot (where it rounds to drive back around), there is a large hole that is difficult to see. Last evening, I stepped in it and rolled my ankle. I wanted to share so no one else gets hurt. I am happy to help locate it with photos are meeting someone there. I didn't have a chance to take a photo as I could barely walk and wasn't focused on the safety thoughts in the future.
Hi, I was with my daughter at the Southeast Park playground today and noticed an unusual plant near the swings and hobby horses with a tiny tomato-like fruit. My plant app identified it as Carolina horse nettle, which is a member of the nightshade family and is poisonous. I pulled and discarded all the plants I saw in the area with berries, but I am concerned that this plant is present on a playground and wanted to alert you. The berries look a lot like tiny tomatoes or globe eggplant and would appear edible to many. Thanks for your time!
There has been only one tennis net up this spring. Can we please get the 2nd one hung soon as they all the other nets around town are up at this point.
