I am extremely disappointed that the City has chosen to keep the 7-Line closed for an additional 4 months. It is disheartening to know that even if we build bicycle and pedestrian infrastructure, they can and will be treated like accessories for contractors to play with. Does the Board of Public Works advocate for the residents of Bloomington or just contractors? This appeared to be against the wishes of Engineering staff- where was this passion to approve when it came to the Bloomington monument a couple of years back that they continued to deny with no justification??

Florida was just supported by the Supreme Court about keeping the likes of the rainbow fagit Pedophile, child grooming.
Transgender trash away from the children versus setting the table for the feast of the sick trash as like that you supported and switchyard park a few years ago. I'm just curious. Is there any chance that you may do the same thing to keep the kids safe versus supporting that sick crap

With all of the City employees in City vehicles that are out on the road all the time why can’t they be required to report road issues? Parking. Hand, planning, parks, engineering, even police and fire when not taking calls and on patrol, utilities, animal, street. Fleet

The response I got was:
Thank you for submitting information to us via uReport. We value your input and hope that we will be able to address your questions and concerns. In accordance with Bloomington Municipal Code 6.07.010 (a), a property owner gets 24 hours after the snow or ice has ceased to fall or in any way accumulate to remove it before we can issue a violation. In the event of a violation, the neighborhood compliance officer will issue a Notice of Violation (NOV) to the property owners via first class mail and by placing a copy of the notice of violation on the property.
No, that post about how "they" don't clear on Saturday and Sunday was talking about the CITY clearing ROADS (not residents shoveling sidewalks).
I'm sorry that was not clear. I don't think it's correct, just an exaggeration, that "they" don't plow snow on weekends. Please confirm that the City plows on weekends. (I think you do, but i could not swear to it in court.)
Thanks!

There seems to be a makeshift homeless camp being setup at the Brandon Court/Henderson bus stop near the Winslow Plaza and Bloomington South high school. They are using the bus stop bench and are under the tree behind the bus stop. The amount of people seem to be growing the last few days.

At the bus stop on W 3rd St and S Westplex Ave there are homeless individuals who camp out at the bus stops; they have mattresses, trash, and needles around them. This situation makes it unsafe for other individuals trying to ride the bus as well as causing a disturbance to the neighboring businesses. I've contact the transportation department and filed a uReport but nothing changed.
