Homeless sleeping on the sidewalk again next to All-Star driving school. Police chase them off yesterday, why is it allowed that they still keep coming back? They have also trashed the bus shelter on Henderson Street next to Brandon Court Apartments.
There seems to be a makeshift homeless camp being setup at the Brandon Court/Henderson bus stop near the Winslow Plaza and Bloomington South high school. They are using the bus stop bench and are under the tree behind the bus stop. The amount of people seem to be growing the last few days.
Homeless asleep at private property and along bline.
Street closure sign for Taste of Bloomingtton had date 8/3, which is Sunday, but the event is scheduled for Saturday, 8/2.
There have been a huge group of homeless sitting and lying on the sidewalks in front of Timber Ridge. With school starting tomorrow, we don’t want our kids to feel unsafe waiting for the bus. They have become loud, messy and saying inappropriate things to those who walk by and to those who live here. Can someone please address this before school starts?

Homeless person camped outside apartment building. Blocking access to tenant mailboxes and preventing mail from delivered.
Once again Street Department is repaving roads with barely any milling work done, this time on South Washington. Milling down 1' strips less than .5" at the curb and not milling at all in the middle of the road. The "repaving" here is just piling up over an inch of fresh asphalt on top of un-milled asphalt. This raises the grade of the road, which also means curbs are now effectively lower and storm drains that should be at grade are now sitting in a pit of asphalt.
Is it correct that invasive species management and overgrowth is no longer going to be addressed by City Staff as per local ordinances/code/law?
