Dog left outside daily barking violently for 6-7 hours at a time. Has been going on for 2 weeks.
The neighbors dog is consistently outside unattended and is aggressive towards the occupants at 5008 Harvest Ct. There have been several close calls with the dog attempting to bite. To establish a record I am asking for assistance. The latest incident was today (9/6/2023) at approximately 8:26. The driver, Jordy Wittmer, provided a video to me of which the attached picture was taken. I am the owner of the home at 5008 and Mr. Wittmer is one of my tenets. You may contact me should you have any questions.
Person's dog has been barking all thru the night for the last week. Person did this with previous dog as well and has no intention of stopping behavior.
This family has a makeshift fence that is unstable and proceeds into the sidewalk. They also have a dog that lunges and feels unsafe (especially with a makeshift fence so close to the sidewalk) when walking by. My kids are scared and it's on a busy neighborhood corner that a lot of kids walk by.
Aggressive deer charged at me and my dog on a walk two times in the past 24 hours. First encounter was last night (9/13) around 7:30p in the alleyway between University & 1st near to Woodlawn Ave. The second incident happened along S. Ballantine Rd between Maxwell Ln & Sheridan Dr. this morning (9/14) around 7:15a. Both instances involved does that did not have any fawns nearby and were unprovoked - my dog did not try to chase or attack as we both didn’t notice them initially. I had to throw nearby items that were on the ground, such as sticks & rocks, multiple times in order to get them to leave us alone. Extremely unnerving behavior especially for does without fawns and is a hazard to anyone in the neighborhood.
The deer population is as bad as the homeless population. They are a danger to humans and we endanger the deer. They hiss at me when I talk my dog for a walk to the point that I fear the deer will attack me. I am constantly having to watch for deer and they have literally ran right into my car. Deer are not supposed to live in a city so why are they in ours. They are not friendly nor are they safe for the residents. Just like the homeless people. This city has become more dangerous than I could have ever imagined and I have lived here for 30 years. I am very disappointed in the city and the way its progressing. Columbus has more job opportunities than Bloomington which is sad.
There is a dead skunk on S. Washington St., between Davis and Grimes. It hasn't been hit yet, and if it's cleaned up quickly, we might be spared the stink!
563 e Graham place. Small dog is stuck on porch all hours of the day, crying to be let in. The porch is maybe 7x4 ft. No area for shade besides a towel that's been draped over the rail. This has been going on for a while now. Very worried about this dog.
Someone is keeping a 300# pig in their backyard.
