Dead skunk on road.
Dead skunk on road.
Raccoon persist under porch. Caught in trap, uncertain as to proper relocation protocol.
the owner of 713 S. Clifton Avenue not only has dogs that continually bark, but the cats belonging to the house are left unattended to roam the street, killing baby birds/bunnies in their nest. Yesterday one of the cats aggressively ran at me in our yard. Its very disturbing to see such neglect with animals. It makes me wonder if they are not being fed properly.
Dead and decomposing fox tangled up in fence between my yard and neighbor's house, south side of house, side yard.
There is a dead deer in this yard near the 3rd St. side. This is the house just east of mine. It has been there for 3 days, and is producing a vivid stench.
I was walking my dog this morning when we noticed a deer ahead in the road, several hundred feet away. So we stopped and turned around to go the other way. I looked back after turning and realized it was aggressively running at us. Fortunately I am young and am able to run. But others in my neighborhood may not be so fortunate. This is completely unacceptable. I know that this is likely a doe protecting a fawn nearby, but I find this unacceptable as a citizen trying to use a public road to walk. It’s outrageous. Had I not seen it running at us it could have attacked and killed my dog, as they have been known to do, or attacked me.
This is my 3rd complaint about dogs barking and howling during the day and at night. I have received answers from Animal Control that the owners promised to get park colors. Either they are not working or it did not happen. We need our sleep at night, and we want to enjoy our yard during the day. One of our neighbors has recordings and has also filed multiple complaints. We would really like your help, again. And please do not placate us again that you have talked to the owners. They seem reticent to input. All of us look forward to a permanent solution. Thank you, Marion Krefeldt 1910 E 1st 812-325-5457
The constant barking and howling of dogs keeps us from being able to sleep. We were tolerable up to a point, but the daily and nightly noise is just intolerable.
There are many, many, many cats and a few dogs within a chain link fence on East First Street one block from the playground of Binford elementary. The yard reeks of cat urine and the dogs bark constantly. The small white dog is not made to be out in cold weather. He barks pitifully. These animals do not appear to be well cared for at all and are a nuisance to the neighborhood. Please, please do something about this.
