Customer complained that her water tastes bad and thnks it is making her sick. Customer would like her water tested.

Ms. Noel called on 12/11/96 at 2:20 p.m. to complain that her water had a dark yellowish color. She noticed no odor but did not taste the water to see if it tasted peculiar.
Customer stated there is an excessive smell and taste of chlorine in drinking water. He is allergic to chlorine and would like to have water tested for chlorine level.
Customer stated that her water does not taste good. Customer was advised there has been a problem with taste in the water caused by lake turnover, but this problem seems to have ended. Customer was asked if she noticed improvement in the water lately. She said "yes." Customer was asked if she would like her water tested. Customer said "no." Customer was advised to call back if taste was not better in a week. Customer said "OK."
Ms. Mendez called at 7:00 p.m. on 11/25/96 re. the Kimbell residence at 3521 Park Place. She stated there was no problem until 11/25/96 in the a.m. when the odor got really strong with a chlorine odor.
Ms. Usrecy is concerned about the quality of water. She has developed ulcers in her mouth and lips. She is specifically concerned with the fact that the city does not test water for mold, a substance that produces an allergic reaction in her mouth.
Mr. Plecher complained that his water has a very bad taste/smell. Utilities chemist at Dillman explained city ran out of carbon to treat water & algea taste comes through. This seems to happen 3 or 4 times a year. couldn't city purchase more carbon more often so this won't happen again?
Melissa Dillon called Sheila McGlothlin on 11/22/96 and was referred to John Trotter at Monroe WTP. Ms. Dillon complained that there was a strong chlorine taste and odor at her residence which is in the vicinity of K-Mart East.
Ms. Weaver called to complain that her water has tasted and smelled muddy and "earthy" for 2-3 weeks. This problem started right after heavy rains.
Customer called Dillman Rd. WWTP on 11/21/96 and complained that his water tasted "icky" and is cloudy. Customer is a Southern Monroe Water Co. customer. Customer said that Southern Monroe Water Co. had been digging near that property.
