Skunk smell. landlord was notified same day
They were at a light by 3rd St.and the city vehicle was not signaling at the intersection. The city driver then cut them off (he was on the phone). Further down by 17th St. the driver slowed down to 10 mph and as they went to pass him he started giving them "dirty looks". The city driver was in Fleet Vehicle #409 at 3:15 today.
Mr. Shields called to complain about missed trash and recycling pick ups, but also described calling the sanitation office and dealing with a "rude" employee when discussing these issues.
Problem w/ landlord.
I received a phone call from a resident of the Near West Side neighborhood, who wanted the City to know how much he appreciated the Brighten B-Town crew that was recently working on his street. They cleaned up the yard in front of a vacant home and edged and cleaned the cracks in the sidewalks up and down the block. The resident frequently walks in his neighborhood, and has noticed improvements throughout. Kudos to the Public Works department!
Ms. Black stated that she had heard the Weddle Bro's were only going to place sod on one side of the sidewalk. She was very concerned with this.
Line torn out by contractor with backhoe.
