Re: Rail Trail == On the trail north of Gordon Pike & East of Somersbee, there is a section of barbed wire 6" and 36" high 1/4 mile in length that is covered with foliage and can't be seen. Mr. Burkett is afraid someone will be harmed.
Colonel Johnson says the wildflowers north of Miller Showers are too high and people can't see on-coming traffic. He says it is extremely hazardous (wants to make sure you check it from a car). Would like this taken care of.
Caller indicated that he attended a ballgame @ Winslow Sports Complex and was told he could not have his 8 week old puppy with him. He was upset that there were no signs saying dogs not allowed.
Mr. Ward called to let us know that on several occasions he has seen folks drive back to the Wapehani Bike Park and dump brush and other debris. He knows what they're doing is illegal but doesn't want to get in trouble trying to catch them! He lives at the corner of Wapehani/Weimer roads and uses the park frequently and wants to see it taken care of. Also, has some questions about off-roading in the big open field by the park. Heather called and said there are older kids vandalizing the playground equipment and benches at Crestmont Park. She took her kids there yesterday and got paint all over her hair and clothes. She also said they are urinating on the slide(s) at night. Wants to know if we can do something about it. Please contact her.
Farmers' Market: Caller says that there should not be animals at the market. This past weekend there were three dogs and two cats. He does not want this to continue. He wants to work together on the project to change this.
Bryan Park Pool: Pool rental from 9-11pm on 7/24 was too loud. A DJ was screaming on the loudspeaker and blaring music. That noise is inappropriate for this residential area.
Lives next to Park Square Park - enjoys playming basketball when evening colls down. The lights have not been coming on. Has called before - wants the lights on and would like a return call.
